Everyone welcome. ^ The church will be in use on Saturday, October 5 for a 1pm wedding ^ Flu Shot Clinic - October 6: We have been provided the opportunity by Marlene Singer to have a flu shot clinic following worship on Sunday, October 6 in the narthex. If you are interested in receiving a flu shot, please sign up in the narthex or reception office this Sunday, Sept. 29 so your shot can be reserved. The cost is $20 in the form of cash or a check made out to "Martella's Pharmacy" to be paid that day. ^ Blanket Sunday - October 6 - If you would like to make a special offering on Blanket Sunday, it will be sent to Lutheran World Relief for their quilts & kits given to those in disaster areas. ^ The Lutheran Home's Autumn Boutique will be held Saturday, October 12 from 9:30am - 2:00pm at The Lutheran Home. Attic Treasures, crafts, baked goods, and any other items for the Boutique can be dropped off at the Home from 9-4 during the week (call ahead if bringing large items). Anyone wishing to participate in the adult class led by Pastor Toby should meet in the parlor following worship. Children of all ages can head upstairs for class with Joyce Plaza. ^ When Bible Study resumes on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 6:00pm in the parlor, we will resume our look at Revelation. All are welcome to attend Bible Study and the Prayer Gathering that follows at 7:00pm where we come together weekly to pray for the church, the community, and the world. ^ 2020 Budget Proposals due Friday, Sept. 27: Most committees will not have to submit proposals, as budgets are created based on the previous years' expenses. ^ Homebound Visitors can pick up the fall homebound gifts in the first-floor meeting room beginning Sunday. ^ The "God's Work, Our Hands" committee shares their thanks to all involved in the Stockings for Soldiers and for helping the goal to be surpassed.
