Trinity Lutheran Church will be open for modified in-person worship beginning Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 9:00 A.M. We are eager to welcome you back after 3 months! Please note the following changes that allow us to return to in-person worship safely: 1. Please stay home if you are feeling ill, running a temperature, have been in contact with someone known to have COVID, or if you don't feel comfortable returning to worship yet. There should be no guilt in keeping yourself & others safe. Services can still be watched on Trinity's Facebook page. 2. Face coverings are recommended but not required (will be provided if necessary) 3. Only 2 options for entering the building: If you physically cannot do steps, you will enter through the handicap entrance. If you can do steps, you will enter via the middle narthex doors which will be already open. 4. Exiting the building: The side of the sanctuary you choose to sit will determine the door you will exit when leaving. If you sit on the Golde St. side, you will exit via the side narthex door that leads to Golde Street. If you sit on the Ash Street side, you will exit via the side narthex door that leads to Ash Street. Those who used the handicap entrance will exit that way. 5. Only certain pews will be open for seating. Closed pews will be marked. 6. Hymnals & Bibles will temporarily be removed from the pew racks. 7. Communion will be self-serve via a factory packaged wafer & juice cup. You will pick up your communion package on the way in and dispose of it on your way out. The congregation will take communion during worship all at once, from their pews. 8. Offering plates will be located in the center aisle. You may drop your offering in the plates on the way in as you pick up your bulletin. 9. All areas except for the restrooms & sanctuary will be closed. 10. Social distancing still should be maintained. 11. Hand sanitizer will be available. Facebook: Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Johnstown
